I didn't think the Jazz were going to be able to pull this one out. The Magic made 15 3-pointers in the game and a couple times got out to double digit leads. The Jazz fought back each time to get back in the game but i was afraid the Magic would hit 3's late and steal the game from the Jazz.

Here we were just happy this game went into overtime. It was already after 11 pm, but who cares. We were having a blast at this game. It meant just about the whole season for the Jazz, so it was an intense game. Only one game means more for the Jazz now, its Tuesday against the Suns. Win and the Jazz are in the playoffs, lose and they leave it all up to the Suns to make the playoffs or not.
I was happy the Jazz won this one obviously, but it was nice to get a win under our Jazz games belt this year. We only went to 3 games and the previous 2 games were great fun games to go to, but really tough close loses for the Jazz. We needed to go to at least 1 win this year. Felt good. The first two games we went to Allston had to go and tell me halfway through the game that he didn't think the Jazz were going to win. I'd get frustrated with him and tell him its only halfway over and that the Jazz can win but he'd just tell me he had a bad feeling about it. I wished the Jazz would have proved him wrong those two nights but the didn't. So this game against the Magic i asked him right away how he felt about the Jazz this game.... he said he thought they'd win. I'm glad he was right about this one, but darn kid, he's going to think he knows everything.
Its not set for sure yet, but it looks like if the Jazz beat the Suns and secure their playoff spot they will be playing against the Spurs in the first round. The Spurs have had the Jazz's number for the past many years, maybe this year it can change. The Spurs did lose to the 8 seed last year, maybe they just struggle with the 8 seed..... i can hope.
