We did get tickets finally, so Allston and I went.

Jazz win in overtime. Best game i have been to so far this year. It was so nuts.
1. Finally the Jazz get a win against the Thunder and avoid the season sweep. I know the Thunder are in the 7 spot right now, but i'm a little afraid of a Jazz matchup against them in the playoffs. They are good and will give anyone a tough first round matchup. I think the Jazz can win in a seven game series, but its not really something i'd like to find out.
2. Deron was doing some crazy sweet stuff especially in the first half. I really like this guy and hope he will keep playing at this high level. He can just dominate the other team and control the game. The Thunder slowed him down in the second half, but he was still the man and impacted the game anyway. Here's a video of one of his Jimmy plays.
3. Kevin Durant. Holy crap man. The Jazz had a pretty comfortable lead of like 11 i think with 4 or so minutes to go in the game. Durant seriously made some crazy shots. I couldn't believe they just kept going down. He was shooting from way behind the three point line. This guy is good, and just could not be stopped. I know there's all the talk of Kobe and Lebron, but Durant is up there with them... at least he was in this game, and by what i hear, he has been doing this in alot of games. Like i said in number 1, i don't want to see this guy in the playoffs. It would not have surprised me if his crazy turn around shot from almost halfcourt would have gone in at the end of regulation... thats the kind of holy crap he was making.
4. I like Boozer. I hope he shows up like this in the playoffs. He didn't do much in the first half, but really showed up in the second half.
5. The game felt almost like a playoff game. I am seriously excited for the playoffs this year. Allston and I are going to go to games, and i'm having him bring a bunch of crap to make alot of noise. Hopefully this year ends the best yet for the Jazz.
6. Here's a couple of videos of highlights and recap from the game. It was intense and back and forth the last minute of regulation and through overtime.
7. The refs missed a foul call on Durant's final shot for the Thunder. Good for the Jazz, bad for the Thunder. It wasn't a horrible foul, but yeah, probably a foul. It is what happens sometimes, i would have been upset at the time if it happened to the Jazz, but stuff like that does happen, and has happened to the Jazz. Sucks, but yeah, i will say there were alot of missed and bad calls in the end of the 4th and during overtime. Refs didn't really do good for either team. So thats all i have about that. Sorry Thunder fans.
