Ok, got to go see a football game finally. I wanted to go to one its been a long time. The Utes have been dominating teams so far this year and i figured this one would be about the same. It was. They are now 7-0 and are were ranked 9 before this week. Their schedule gets tougher from here on out and the toughest game should be TCU in two weeks. They do have a good chance of going undefeated again this year, but that TCU game could be a loss, they are pretty good. Obviously another of their games could be losses too, but not likely at all if the Utes play like this.
Really this game was never close. 3 of the Rams points came off a punt return that was fumbled and recovered by the Rams. The Utes seemed to come up with a big yardage play just about every time they had a possession.
Even with this win with plenty of "style" points, i don't think the Utes will move up in the rankings. A couple teams above them lost, but i'm guessing with how the BCS goes either they will still stay above the Utes or a team or teams behind the Utes will jump over them in the Rankings. Oklahoma was #1 this week in the BCS and should never have been that high. There are just teams that the BCS do not want to see at the top and i don't think that will change. Thats all i really want to say on that subject even tho there really is plenty more to say.
It rained the whole first half and it got pretty soggy. And cold. This was right before halftime when the sun started to shine through the rain.
It was me and Adam the brother. He wore my Shamu poncho, because he's a whale. It did keep him mostly dry tho.
Math Lesson of the day:
Sitting in student section = standing the whole game
Lots of rain = wet pants
Wet pants + cold air + standing = sore body tonight
Sore body = I had a fun time
Fun time = I'm tired now, and going to bed
