End Of Season Ratings

So here it is, the end of the season. Playoffs start Saturday. Here's what this system i have been doing says about the ratings for the playoff teams. So first, i'll say yeah i hate the Lakers, but i did use the same system for them as every other team... they just really did come out lower. The Lakers and Caveliers did suffer a little because of Kobe and Lebron not really playing in the last bunch of games but not more than about 3-5 points anyway. Besides its just my opinion that Cleveland's losing their last 4 games was not a good thing for them... even if it got Lebron some rest. I guess we'll see in the playoffs.

In the West, the Suns and Mavericks had a good late season push and moved up since last ratings. Lakers continue to slip down every time i do the ratings. In the East not a ton changed except Orlando moved up over Cleveland. Boston dropped a bit.

Jazz still came out pretty high in the West... lets hope that reflects in their post-season run.
West
1- Phoenix Suns - 88
2- Utah Jazz - 87
3- Dallas Mavericks - 82
4- LA Lakers - 77
5- San Antonio Spurs - 75
6- Denver Nuggets - 68
7- Portland Trailblazers - 68
8- Oklahoma City Thunder - 62

East
1- Orlando Magic - 103
2- Cleveland Caveliers - 97
3- Atlanta Hawks - 82
4- Miami Heat - 72
5- Boston Celtics - 65
6- Milwaukee Bucks - 53
7- Charlotte Bobcats - 49
8- Chicago Bulls - 37
More playoff junk and end of season junk coming when i have a minute or two.

Is heart reflected on your ratings? Because Boozer doesn't have any. I wish he did, but he worries way too much about his own future and nobody else's. D-Will needs to be more like Kobe, Lebron, and Carmelo and just take over. He does it sometimes, but now he needs to do it all the time.

No Paul, heart is not reflected in these ratings. I wish this were an accurate rating of where the Jazz are, but i'm afraid its not. I'd like to see the Jazz prove this rating correct. Its possible, and they've shown heart some and Deron has taken over... just not enough.

Hollinger's ratings do sort of agree with this rating of the Jazz. He has the Jazz at #4 in the NBA. In his playoff odds section, he also has the Jazz just barely behind the Suns and Spurs in the West as best percentage chance of winning a title.

Check em out.
