Jazz Playoff Thoughts 3

Things are narrowing down a bit for the Jazz now. The whole playoff mess is a little more clear. The teams the Jazz could face in round 1 are:
Suns
Nuggets
Blazers
Spurs
I believe these are the only possibilities. Jazz can still get as high as 2 and as low as 5. So who do we want to see in the first round? If we want the Blazers or Spurs, we have to get the 2 or 3 spot. This means first of all the Jazz must win both their games. For the 2 spot Dallas has to lose their last game, and Denver has to lose to the Suns. The thing about this happening, is if Dallas and Denver both lose, but the Jazz do not beat the Suns on Wednesday the Jazz fall all the way to the 5 spot and guess who they'd play? The Nuggets... without homecourt. If the way was paved for the Jazz by Denver and Dallas, the Jazz would have to do their part or it'd be bad for them, good for the Suns. I guess another benefit of getting 2 or 3 would be staying out of the Lakers side of the playoff bracket and not meeting them in the playoffs so early.

No matter what happens with other teams to finish off the season, the Jazz, Suns game Wednesday will be a huge game for the Jazz for any of 3 reasons:
1. Jazz will need it to move up to the 2 or 3 spot.
2. Jazz will know they are facing the Suns in the 1st round, but whoever wins will get homecourt advantage.
3. Because i said so.
