More Jazz Playoff Thoughts

Just an interesting thing i found when i was looking at numbers and such. I looked at the 8 Western Conference playoff teams and their records during March and April (to end the regular season). This is pretty interesting looking at how all 8 teams finished the season. I'll list the 8 playoff teams with their records.... best first.
1- Phoenix Suns - 17-4, .810
2- Portland Blazers - 15-5, .750
3- Dallas Mavericks - 16-6, .727
4- San Antonio Spurs - 17-8, .680
5- Utah Jazz - 15-8, .652
6- OKC Thunder - 15-9, .625
7- Denver Nuggets - 14-9, .609
8- LA Lakers - 12-10, .545

I just thought it a bit strange that the three bottom teams (Thunder, Nuggets, and Lakers) are the three teams that the Jazz are facing in the first round and could be facing in the second round. Not to say that i was happy to see the Jazz go against Denver without homecourt in the first round, or that i'd like to necessarily like to see the Jazz have to take on the Lakers in the second round... but i don't know, maybe the Jazz road to the West Finals is not the most horrible thing they've had in past years.

I don't know, i guess we'll have to see what the Lakers do, but they haven't seemed particularly great so far, and the Thunder sure seem to be gaining some momentum and confidence. The Lakers have owned the Jazz in the past few years, but i just have to say, wouldn't it be some great sweet action for the Jazz to get over that Laker hump finally and beat them in a playoff series?

As far as if i want the Jazz to face the Lakers, i don't know, probably not. But Jazz beating Lakers would be a very very satisfying thing to behold.
