Ogden Raptors at Orem Owlz: Game 1

Owlz home: 24-14............ Raptors away: 18-19

Raptors finally got a win against the Owlz, and it cam at the best time, the playoffs. After losing all 4 games to the Owlz to close out the season it wasn't looking great for the Raptors. This game didn't start out too great either, when the Owlz scored on a home run in the first inning. It seemed like it might be alot of the same. The Raptors kept them from scoring again though, and could not score themselves until the 9th inning. Finally the Raptors scored two runs on a single to center. The Raptors kept the Owlz scoreless again in the 9th to get the win. This puts the Raptors just 1 more win from defeating the Owlz in the playoffs and going to the championship series.

Most of the Raptors games are on the radio so i can at least listen to them, but this one wasn't because of some high school football game. I don't know maybe its just me, but it seems a little weird to have a high school football game over this playoff game. I know its just a rookie league, but still. So i was just able to keep track of this game at work by checking updates on my phone. At least i was able to know what was going on. We will be going to game 2 in Ogden tomorrow night. Should be sweet.
