Week 11 Bears at Dolphins

vs
16 - 0
Season Record: 7-3

Game Highlights
Great game. Robbie Gould 10, Matt Forte 6, Miami Dolphins 0. The score pretty much says it all. This is only the second time in 40 years the Dolphins have been shutout at home. Yes Miami had its 3rd quarterback in and had injuries keeping guys out, but the Bears defense contained anyone that was out on the field and they did it in dominating fashion. This is exactly the kind of Bears game i like to see. It doesn't really matter to me that the Bears only scored 16 points or that they had to kick a few field goals instead of punching it into the endzone. I like to see a Bears defense that does this. The Bears offense tonight really played even better than their 16 points. No it was no Vick and the Eagles 49 or whatever point performance... nothing like that... but the Bears did do well on offense and moved the ball every time they had it. This kept Miami from getting the ball very often, the Bears had it in their hands most of the game.

Once again the Bears win, but with this performance the tv announcers had little to say bad about the Chicago Bears. They have a tough schedule ahead. Next week we'll see what their defense can do against Vick and the Eagles. They still have the Patriots, Jets, and Packers as well. The Lions and Vikings are also not guaranteed games, as both are road games, and both those teams can play good games.

The Bears had now matched their last year's win total of 7 wins. They still have 6 games left this season. Its good to have the Bears in the playoff hunt.
