Jazz Thoughts 10 in the PM

1. Doesn't Deron just look like a little kid in this picture? Nice sweater man, i like.

2. The Western Conference is just jam packed from the 2 spot to the 8 spot with only around a game separating each spot. Even with only 6 games left for the Jazz, they really could end up playing anyone in the first round. Its really nuts to not even really be able to narrow it down much. There are a few that are more likely than others (Spurs, Blazers, Thunder), but it could about as easily be the Nuggets, or Suns, or even Dallas if both fall to the 4 and 5 spot. The Mavericks lost tonight to the Magic so that puts them at 50-26, even with the Jazz. Since the Jazz are at the top of their division now this gives the Jazz the tie breaker and puts them currently in the 2 spot.

3. Jazz play at the Lakers tomorrow. This game could put them more securely in the 2 spot, or drop them back to the 3 spot. Or if Phoenix wins and Jazz lose they would drop to 4 behind the Suns. I'd really like to see the Jazz win out the season. It wouldn't be an easy thing, but definitely possible. They would end the season on a 9 game win streak that could give them so much confidence going into the playoffs. Really to me it doesn't as much matter the seed the Jazz go into the playoffs in as that they finish strong and beat teams that they have had troubles with during the season. Jazz could really do good with a win in LA and also to finally beat the Thunder and not get swept by them in their season series. Soon we might know who the Jazz will get in the first round.

4. Blazers are up by 1 in the third quarter against the Nuggets. The Nuggets seem to be slipping a bit lately and that could end up good for the Jazz to end at top of the division.

5. Lakers lost again last night. Poo on the Lakers.
