Utah Jazz at LA Lakers

vs
92 - 106
Season Series: Lakers 3-1
Jazz Record: 50-27
Jazz Road: 19-19
Once again the Lakers had plenty to be happy about after playing the Jazz in LA. I worked so i just listened to the game on the radio, but even though i couldn't see the Jazz play, i've seen it many times lately when they play in LA.... they seem to lack a determination to win. The first quarter was so painful. Knowing how important this game was for the Jazz it was hard to hear them go down 19 points to the Lakers knowing it would be almost impossible for them to make up the deficit.
The second quarter was better than the first with Deron actually playing hard and taking it to the Lakers like he was good enough to play with them. The Jazz got back to within 4 points in the second half, but couldn't stop the Lakers from scoring and going on their runs.
I don't know what it is with the Jazz when they play the Lakers, but they don't play the same. If the Jazz do end up meeting the Lakers in the playoffs, something has to change if they are going to take the Lakers down.

This loss was huge, and took the Jazz from the 2 spot to the 4 spot. With Phoenix playing as good as they are, the Jazz are barely out of the 5 spot and barely keeping home court advantage in the first round. The playoffs obviously important, but the remaining 5 games on the Jazz schedule i think will have a ton of impact on the rest of the season and postseason for the Jazz.

Jazz Confidence: 86%
