Game 10: Utah Jazz at Charlotte Bobcats

vs
96 - 95
Season Record: 7-3

Do i even need to go over what happened in the game? Same old bidness. I've started not even paying attention to what happens in the first half. If the Jazz keep playing like they have in second halfs, they won't lose many games.

Same old recap:
Jazz get down big early. 19 points down in this one and they don't really start getting back in it until the end of the 3rd. Finally with a couple minutes left they tie the game, then go ahead. I've stopped wondering if the Jazz will come back and get into games. They have done it so much lately i just expect them to be in the game at the end and have a chance to win. This one was the same. The Jazz got the ball back down 1 point with just barely over 24 seconds left. They decided to run the clock all the way down and go for the final shot, win or lose. Deron took it to the left, a little out of control, then crossover back down the middle float it up in the lane, swish. Jazz up 1 with just 0.8 seconds left. Bobcats miss, Jazz win. 5 straight comeback wins for the Jazz. 4 of them on the road.

Jordan is getting old. His Bobcats can't beat the Jazz tho.

Items of note:
  • Jazz win all 4 games of their east coast road trip. These were not bad teams they beat either.
  • Jazz 5-2 on the road this season. Nice. Best road record in the NBA. Only 10 games into the season, but still. Impressive thus far.
  • Deron Williams is starting to take over games when the Jazz need him to.
  • Jazz are starting to get noticed. They're making a name for themselves with all these comeback wins.
  • Hopefully the Jazz will never again look like the team that started the season 0-2. Even though it was only two games, it seemed like the Jazz played horrible forever. Even with their slow starts still, they have been looking SOOO much better than in those first games.
  • Gay. Just watching Sports Center and saw their top 10 plays of the day. Deron's game winner was not even on the top 10. A block by one of the Bobcat players was on there, but Deron's game winner was not. Yeah, nice block and all, but really... if Deron's shot doesn't make it in the top 10, i don't know how the block would even be in the top 30.
  • Not gay at all. Sports Center didn't give Deron any credit, but nba.com did. His shot was number 1 on the top 10 plays of the day.

Jazz Player of the Game: Deron Williams
17 points, 9 assists.
Another game winner from Deron. It was such a sweet shot too, just hung up there forever and came down right through the hoop. This was a big one. I think Deron is just getting better and better at clutch shots. Give him the ball with the game on the line. (Millsap's not a bad option either.)
