Game 11: Utah Jazz vs Oklahoma City Thunder

vs
108 - 115
Season Record: 7-4

Game Recap:
The Jazz played much better in the first quarter. This was a little bit opposite of the past while, the Jazz were playing bad in the first half and making a lot up in the third quarter, and finishing with great 4th quarters. Tonight the 1st quarter was real good, 2nd and 3rd pretty bad, and 4th quarter quite good. The Jazz had a shot at this one, but just couldn't get it done at the end. They were making the shots and offense was good, but they just couldn't stop the Thunder on the other end. I guess their luck had to run out sometime. Even though their win streak was only 5, it was an incredible streak the way it played out.

Two interesting items:
  • Jazz home record: 2-2
  • Jazz road record: 5-2

Gordon started his first NBA game tonight. I like Gordon, i think he'll do allright in this league once he gets some experience in him.

The Jazz wore their dark road jerseys even though it was a home game. I guess teams choose some home games during the year that they wear their road jerseys for. Interesting.

Jazz Player of the Game: Deron Williams, CJ Miles
1st quarter: Deron Williams:
16 points in the first quarter. 3 threes in the first.
He had a huge start to this game. I think he was determined to not let the Jazz start off the game by getting deep in a hole.

4th quarter: CJ Miles:
CJ played well in the end and made some plays to keep the Jazz in this one. He ended the game with 16 points.
