Week 9 Bears at Bills

vs
22 - 19
Season Record: 5-3

It took a TD pass to Earl Bennett near the end of the 4th quarter to win this one for the Bears. It was not a real convincing win over a winless Bills team, but it was a win and the Bears are now 5-3.

The Bears began the last two seasons with a 4-3 record also, just like this year. In 2009 they dropped 4 straight to go to 4-7 so thankfully this year wasn't the same. In 2008 they did get to 5-3 but then went to 5-5. 2008 was almost good enough for the playoffs, and even with the Bears struggles this year, i think they are better than in 2008.

If the Bears can just keep finding any way to get wins and make it to the playoffs they might be able to have some things figured out by then. They do have alot of potential. They have a defense who can play great and stop teams, and an offense who could score a lot. I don't have the answers that will get their offense on track, but sometimes they look quite good and sometimes really really bad.

The schedule gets a little tougher from here to the end, but the Bears this year have seemed to play as well against the better teams.

Game Highlights
