Week 16 Bears vs Jets

vs
38 - 34
Season Record: 11-4

Bears started out great in this one and went up 10-0 right off the bat. The Jets then scored 21 unanswered. Bears got it to within a touchdown at half. Second half was good again like the beginning of the game and the Bears took the lead and never gave it back. For how this game was going, it was good the Bears held the Jets to just 10 points in the second half.

The Jets got a playoff spot today because Jacksonville lost. But the Bears kept the Jets from winning their way into the playoffs.

The Jets tried to kick it away from Hester, but he still got his hands on a couple of kicks and made the Jets pay with big returns every time he got a kick.

The Bears can secure the #2 spot in the NFC and get a bye the first week of the playoffs, then play the next week at home... if Philadelphia loses a game, or the Bears win next week against the Packers. I think next week's game against the Packers is pretty darn important. The Bears lose against the Packers and the Packers should make the playoffs and could end up facing the Bears in the playoffs. Win against the Packers and send the Packers home with no playoffs.

I loved this game today and love how the Bears are playing. Their offense is really getting better and better each week and they have a lot of weapons. Both run and pass game is doing well right now. Defense is keeping opponents back, even with giving up the 34 pts today. I'm excited for the playoffs and to see who the Bears will match up against. The Bears are much better than they have been the last two years. I hope they make it back to the Super Bowl.

NFC North
Bears 11-4, currently #2 seed in NFC
Packers 9-6
Vikings 6-9
Lions 5-10
